Sometimes life doesn't look like the dream you imagined. I get it.

Most of my life, I struggled with eating disorders. Exhausted by trying to achieve a perfection I thought would make me happy, I decided I’d had enough. I was done with hating my body… or so I thought.

As I started my recovery with food, new anger arose when I was declared infertile. After years of trying to conceive, of grieving a body that refused to do what was “normal”, I became pregnant. Then came a high trauma birth that led to me to saying goodbye to my firstborn.

New levels of grief hit me as I mourned my son. Not sure if I even wanted to try again; disappointment was too real and raw. I couldn’t trust my body. And nobody seemed to know what to say.

When I did finally try, I was met with secondary infertility.

More grief.

I eventually got pregnant again, experiencing all the emotional upheaval of pregnancy after loss. My husband and I experienced every emotion in the book as my first wonderful daughter joined us.

Then another child lost through miscarriage.

Then another wonderful daughter delivered.

My body has imperfections galore, scars and stretchmarks, but I have come to appreciate it in ways my younger self would never have dreamed. Though my story has looked nothing like I thought it would, I have found tremendous healing through therapy.

Now I want to help you find that same healing.

Let’s talk!
